This light-duty pickup truck has been loved for years and we are so excited that Ram will be offering it for the 2019 model year! To distinguish itself from other Ram 1500 models, all 1500 Classic models will be decorated with a “Classic” badge on the fenders. The 1500 Classic models also offer quite a few stand out features that will have you taking an extra look. What kind of trim levels, body styles, and packages are offered for the 2019 Ram 1500 Classic?Â
There are so many Ram 1500 Classic variations to be had for the 2019 model year, we know we have the perfect one for you on our lot. Ram offers this truck in multiple cab and bed length combinations. They include the Regular Cab that can be paired with the 6 foot 4 inch bed or the 8 foot bed, the Quad Cab which can only be paired with the 6 foot 4 inch bed, and finally the Crew Cab which can be paired with the shortest 5 foot 7 inch bed or the 6 foot 4 inch bed. Overall there are four trim levels available for the 2019 model year and they include the Tradesman, Express, Big Horn — known as the Lone Star in the state of Texas, and the SSV (Special Services Vehicle). These four trim levels come loaded with features to make you feel comfortable and help you get the job done.
Ram offers quite a few new packages available for the 2019 model year. They include the Chrome Plus package that is available for the Tradesman model. This package adds features like remote keyless entry, carpet floor covering, body-colored upper front fascia, chrome bumpers, and 17-inch wheels. Also offered for the Tradesman model is the Tradesman SXT package that adds a five-inch radio, 20-inch chrome wheels, fog lamps, dual exhaust (only available for models powered by the V8 engine), and chrome bumpers. Many of the features in these packages are available for the Tradesman model for the very first time! Available on the Express model is the Express Black Package which adds Black headlight bezels, Black wheels, and Black badging for a truly menacing look!
What kind of engine options are available for the 1500 Classic?Â
Ram offers three engine options for the 1500 Classic model. First up, we have the Pentastar, this award-winning 3.6-liter V6 and the second option is the 5.7-liter Hemi V8. Further, into the 2019 model year, a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine will be offered. All of these engine options can be equipped with both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations to help you get the job done and navigate those tricker weather conditions and terrains. Each 1500 Classic is built with a multi-link rear coil suspension. This exclusive suspension offers the driver and passengers the most comfortable ride in the segment thanks to best-in-class and superior ride qualities and handling. The set up of this suspension weighs less than the previously used leaf-suspension configuration to help you achieve better fuel economy. For a truly fantastic ride, the coil-spring design helps centralize and absorb the impact from and bumps while driving while also reducing the friction in the spring system.
